Track Styles Not Saving (Premiere Pro v25.2.1)

System:

  • Adobe Premiere Pro v25.2.1 (Build 2)

  • ASUS ROG Flow X13 GV301RE

  • Windows 11 Home, Ryzen 9 6900HS, 16 GB RAM

  • NVIDIA RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU

Issue: Track Styles Won’t Save
Since upgrading to version 2025, I’ve been unable to save Text or Track Style Presets in the Essential Graphics panel. When I try to save a custom font style, it appears to go through — but the preset never actually shows up in the list. This makes it extremely frustrating to maintain a consistent visual style across projects.

Possibly related: sometimes fonts that I know are installed (and used in other Adobe apps or even in the same project previously) just won’t load inside Premiere Pro. They either show up as missing, or are completely absent from the font dropdown. Restarting Premiere Pro or restarting both Premiere and the Creative Cloud Desktop app sometimes brings them back — but not always.

This problem seems to be new to version 2025 and happens intermittently, but often enough to disrupt my workflow.

Steps Tried:

  • Resetting preferences

  • Clearing font caches

  • Reinstalling fonts

  • Relaunching Creative Cloud

  • System restart

Still no resolution.

Extensions in Use:

  • Captioneer (for converting captions to dynamic text)

  • Autopod (multicam editor)

  • Artlist.io Plugin

  • Frame.io Plugin

Is anyone else experiencing issues with track styles or missing fonts in version 2025?

I think I might have a general issue in premiere pros ability to save files or get permission to save files or alter files on my computer but I don't know why that would be or how to fix it

Are you selecting "Save to Project", "Save to Local Styles" or both when creating the style? It will only show up in the dropdown if you save a style to the project.

If you accidentally saved your style to local only, you can copy the style to the project by drag and dropping it to the correct location in the Style Browser.
