Transcoding File for UK TV

Hi all!

I am delivering digital content to the UK for TV, and every time I transcode my footage we are getting interlaced, progressive and blended frames. The original file is 1920 x 1080 shot at 23.98 fps, the output settings are AVC Intra 1080 50i (preset in premiere) and then 25 fps. Does anyone know why this is happening or can lend a hand?

Adobe software has not been the best at ATSC<>PAL conversions.  My recommendation would be to find a post house that can do the job with hardware.

Hi Jim, what would you suggest using otherwise to deliver on my own?

I've never been satisfied, so I can't recommend anything.
