Transcribe not working since 24.0 Update

I cannot get Transcribe to work since updating to 24.0.  The only time I can get it to do anything is to string out all of the clips with audio into a timeline and then go into Settings and de-select then re-select Auto Transcribe Clips.    It will then attempt to start transcribing for about 10 seconds and then stop.  If I repeat the above steps it will start, but for an even shorter time.

Thanks for responding. FYI, you can keep both PR 24 and PR 23 installed. Be aware that PR 24 is a new project file version, and project saved there cannot be opened in PR 23.

Dialogue is on track one from an FS7.  As I stated earlier I've had to downgrade to 23.6 to get it to work, so I can't test your suggestions at the moment, but I appreciate your input.

I have only guesses and need more information.

Is this a multi-channel audio clip?

Is your dialogue on audio track 1?

What is the source (if a camera, what specific model)?

In the Project Panel, if you right-click one of the clips, do you see Transcribe or Re-transcribe. Either way, click the one that is there. In the "Create transcription for source media" dialogue, do you see an option for "Channel selection" or only Language and Speaker labeling?

If you create a sequence from the clip, and then in the Transcript tab, 3 dots menu -> static transcription, does that work?
