Transcribe Sequence Error: Network Error

I am trying to use the transcription feature on Premiere Pro, but got a grayed out "Transcribe" button and an error code -1597177841 "Network error."  However, I cannot update my version of Premiere Pro, because I do not have an Adobe Account that includes Premiere Pro (don't want to pay for a subscription).  How do I get it to work, without paying money I don't have for a subscription I don't need?  I'm running Premiere Pro 22.0 on Windows 11 laptop.  Thank you.

Hi @phaedrar15126751,

You must pay a subscription for any version of Premiere Pro, firstly. Next, these legacy versions of Premiere Pro no longer support speech to text as the servers are now closed down. It's all loaded internally now. See this doc: https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/speech-to-text-faq.html

I advise you to subscribe to have full access to this feature once more. You can probably also use a trial version if you need emergency access.

Thanks,
Kevin
