Question

Transcripts for multiple audio tracks not showing up

I’m on Premiere Pro 25.6.5 on a Mac Studio 2023 M2 Max, OS Ventura 13.7.8 (our server requires us to stick with that OS). I have a sequence with multiple audio stems from our locked cut on different audio tracks: dialogue, voice-over, archival. I did a Transcript in Premiere of each stem. When I synced these stems by timecode in a sequence (A1: dialogue, A2: voice over, A3: archival), the transcripts for all three stems showed up in the Text panel, which was awesome. However, since then, the transcripts for the voice-over and archival stems aren’t showing up in the Text panel for some reason. It was extremely helpful having access to all three transcripts, in timecode order, in the Text panel.

@KazuT,

Screenshots here might help. I assume your issue is overlapping audio tracks. See my post here:

But I don’t understand, since you seem to say that all 3 showed in the same sequence, and then didn’t.

Got it. Read your post. What might have happened is, when I first made the sequence above, I had a full mix on an audio track that had also been transcribed. Your post would suggest it would have had to have been on A1, though I think I had it on A6. In any case, super helpful to know that I can access the transcript for A2: VO by muting A1: DX, etc.

I’d like to mark your post as Correct Answer but don’t see the option to do so.

@KazuTa,

Thanks for responding. Yes, you’ve got it. It would be nice to have some additional options for working with such sequences.

You might see an options for “Best answer.”

That’s weird @KazuT. I’m wondering if something happened with the sequence or transcript indexing since all the transcripts were showing up before.

@Stan Jones — have you run into this before with multiple transcribed audio tracks in the same sequence? Let me know.

Thanks,
Kevin
