Question

Transfer of effects in remote projects.

On remote projects, effects information inserted into the plan is corrupted, and shot selections are transferred incorrectly on dual cameras. What should someone working remotely do to ensure this information is transferred correctly, or what should I do?

Hi sezginakgunduz,

Welcome to the forum! Have you looked into Team Projects? That's what you might want to use. Check out the URL: https://adobe.ly/4krY4MV. I hope the info helps. Let us know!

Thanks,
Kevin

Thanks for your response. I'm familiar with cloud-based services. The costs make it difficult to work this way. We mostly send media (proxy) files. When we're finished, we only want the project file. We import the sequences into our main project. When we drag and drop, the dual-camera plan selections don't transfer. We solved this by copying and pasting. However, some effects were broken either way. For example, we discovered that the "corner pin" configuration wasn't transferring.

I don't think you understand what Kevin referred to ... it's a specific format of working in Premiere, with projects designed for collaborative use. Not just "cloud" based normal projects.

So look up Team Projects in the Adobe Premiere help.
