Transitions between nested sequences - Or other ideas?

Hello everyone,

I have a film with about 300-500 clips in it. I have a 25fps timeline and 25p and 50p footage that is at 50% speed.

Now i want to apply a touch of mercalli stabilization to a fair amount of clips. But just as Premiere itself, Mercalli cannot handle the 50% speed of the 50p clips and messes up the stabilization big time.

The only way around this could be nesting the individual clips but then all of my already applied cross dissolve transitions would disappear and I have found no solution to re-apply the transitions without countless hours of stupid workarounds.

Does anyone have an idea on how I should handle the situation?

Hi.

What you should do is evaluate what material you need to stabilize, then each clip in its own sequence is stabilized, then each sequence with stabilized clips are included in the main sequence, with its effects and transitions.
