Trouble launching Premier Pro

I don’t use Premiere Pro every day (I use Photoshop and Illustrator every day) but when I tried to launch Premiere Pro today, it loaded a bunch of bundles then stalled, with just a spinning circle.  I tried re-starting Premiere Pro with holding the option key to re-set my preferences and have re-started my computer multiple times.  Premiere Pro refuses to launch, no matter how long I let it spin.

 

I’m running Adobe Creative Cloud Version 5.10.407 on a Mac with Catalina Version 10.15.4.  I’m pretty sure the operating system and all my apps are up to date.  Everything else works flawlessly.

 

Today, I’m asking for suggestions on what to try next.

What are the complete computer specs, including hard drives (how many, what kind, what is on each, and how full)?

Do you mean when you launch Premiere, it is an empty screen but you still see the menus?

If so go to the menu Window > Workspaces > Reset to Saved Layout.

 Try updating Premiere Pro using the CC App.

Nothing has solved this problem.  Premier Pro doesn’t launch for me.  Interestingly, there’s enough functionality to create a new project or open an existing one, so I used Premier Rush to get started.

I have tried re-setting the preferences several times with no improvement.  After re-setting yesterday, I let it spin for two hours and it never launched.  Beyond that, I’ve re-synced the settings with my account on the Creative Cloud; again with no improvement.
