True Lossless save and Lossless to the eye save?
I have found mixed advice, due to people choosing what reply the OP should get.

What are the true Lossless footage options?
Will the saved file be compatible with most video editors?
Is there AVI format included in lossless options?

I feel very uncomfortable about including this second question:
What is the best Lossless to eye footage save setting %&?

Are these save features in Premiere and AE?
Anything need to be downloaded, excluding QuickTime?

Please do not include saved file size as a factor.

Audio quality is not important in this project.

Thanks

What are the true Lossless options?

Uncompressed avi
Will the saved file be compatible with most video editors?

Depends on editor, they are not designed to be edited.

Best visual lossless file would be Prores or Cineform which are both part of Premiere.

Hi,

Edit: It would seem Cineform and Prores were designed for some type of compromise between editing and file size?

I read Cineform was designed for editing in Premiere?

Decided that Cineform would be a good choice between the two.

Using uncompressed AVI unless I run into problems.

Thanks for your help.
