Trying to start second project but first project is there

I've safely exported my first project so I know its in a good place.  I'm ready to start my second project and I've brought in my media, the only issue is, I'm looking at my first project even though I clicked "New project".  I expected the timeline to be blank but its filled with my previous project as is the screen above it.  I've tried multiple times to start a new project but everytime the previous project is there.  i even close PP and open it again and the previous project is still there.  Am I suppose to delete all of that to start a new project?  From the video's it looks like I'm suppose to start fresh with a blank everything.  This feels like gum on my shoes,,how do I get rid of this?

That worked, I had to "not save" the others first.

When you click "New Project" you have to give it a name in the upper left and then "Create" in the lower right to actually create a new project.

Is it working for you now? Has it been fixed?
