tunnel effect?

Working on a project and had an idea to use in video but I have no idea how to do it/if it's possile. 

So I have a bunch of newspaper articles from 2003-2019 and the idea is to have a starting picture start really really small in the middle of the screen and then have the articles come flying at you from the most recent to the oldest (so basically like traveling back in time to the picture which is the starting point, if that makes sense), until the "starting picture" has come full screen.

Any one have any ideas?
