turning down volume in effects control tab reduces waveform height

I'm not a fan of when people right click on a clip on the timeline and choose "gain" to decrease volume of a clip because it makes the waveform height go down and look smaller. thats what I love about changing the volume in the effects control tab, it doesnt reduce the size of the waveforms...... until now..... This seems like a bug and makes it a lot more difficult to see definitive waveform patterns when the waveform lengths get smaller when i reduce the volume. Please fix this. This isn't a bug. This is the dynamic waveforms in action. If you prefer, you can disable Dynamic Waveforms by going to the Menubar>View>Dynamic Waveforms

Thank You! Yes, I would still like to see the waveform if the volume is turned down. Fix the bugs before adding “features” please.

So now it’s tied to gain as well, so you can’t bring up the waveform by setting gain unless volume control also is on. Holy crap guys, stop.

If you turn down gain, waveform height should decrease; this is 100% accurate.
