two recent problems: copying files into an edit and effect-keyframes

Hey folks,

over the last updates I face two annoying situations that interfere with my editing process. Maybe someone has similar problems or knows how to work around them:

1. when wanting to copy a piece of video or audio from one edit to another, the program pasts these right on top of already existing edits even when the already used tracks are not activated: this was my normal process: deactivating the track and pasting the snippet therefore into thge next activated, but this seems impossible to do recently

2. the second thing is that when adding an effect to a snippet and using keyframes to change these over time, the only effect setting used is the one of the last keyframe: even though the percentage change of the effect is showing, the edit shows only one setting.

does anyone has a clue, what’s going on here. are there new ways to toggle these options or is this a bug?

Would be great if someone has an idea!

Hi @moskes,

Thanks for posting your issues. It has been awhile since you posted them, so I wanted to check to see if everything is OK now.

For your copy/paste issue, see this link: https://adobe.ly/3M9HToF

Does that solve it?

I'm not quite understanding your second issue. Which effect are you referring to? Screenshots or a screen movie would be great.

Are these issues solved in projects using the current version of Premiere Pro? Let the community know. I'll move this post to the discussions forum while we await your reply.

Thanks,
Kevin

2. Delete the Media Cache and Media Cache files:

Then try pressing Enter to render the timeline and turn the red line above the timeline to green.
