Two voice tracks in the edit

Hi,

I made a newscast type of studio video recording with two persons, two cameras and two lavalier mics. Few minutes. Total of about 8 switches between the speakers (ie. mics).

The output is 2 x MOV's (with 1 x audio track merged into each).

Now, what is the best/most efficient way to utilize the better mic, depending who is speaking at a monent, in the final Premiere edit?

Cut the audio, same as you would with video.  If you want to hear clip A, you have that in the sequence.  If you want to hear clip B, you have that one in the sequence.

It's pretty simple.

By editing.  You 'select' your audio clips the same way as video.

Yea, editing is what the programs are for.

I was expecting workflow suggestions.

Use the track mixer fader automation to push and pull the two mics.
