Ultra Key Eyedropper not working on Mac Monterey (PP 2023.5.0, Build 56)

Just started mid-project, oddly. I thought it was my MacBook Pro trackpad at first. I closed and relaunched PP, even rebooted. When I click and drag the eyedropper tool in Ultra Key, as soon as I start to drag to sample, the eyedropper cursor immediately reverts back to pointer. I can copy and paste keys from other clips and adjust from there for now. But otherwise very frustrating. Anyone else?
