Unable to browse folder in Essential Graphics

Hey guys,

Currently using the latest version of Premier Pro CC 2018 on PC (Windows 10).I recently installed new animations intended to be used in the Essential Graphics tab but I after installing the 3 different bundles, I don't see them in the Essential Graphics tab as I should. Also, I noticed that with the latest update, I am unable to browse folders in Essential Graphics even though they are here: C:/Users/username/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Common/Essential Graphics/. Basically, I see the default Graphics (the ones that came with the software, not the new ones) files themselves and not the folders they are in. Also, I am able to add them one by one but I should't have to do that... especially not 500+ times.

I tried clearing my settings and cache (Shift+Alt on app start) but that didn't do nothing. Not sure what else I could do...

Some help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Looks like you're not alone, ZavierKonz. Please add your input here: Make the Essential Graphics interface options flexible & robust – Adobe video & audio apps

Hope the team can address this issue soon.

    Thanks,

Is this the same issue you are having?   Since updating yesterday, I can no longer browse to other folders, libraries, etc.  My old custom templates are here, but I'm unable to use news ones I have created. Troubling because I have a deadline as well, and I hope I don't have to re-create them one by one.

Ok so I could upload individual .mogrt files through the software, but only one by one. And the pack I just bought has 305 of them.

So this is my personal work around. It seems incredibly stupid, but it works.

I went on this very useful tool through http://joshcluderay.com/downgrade-premiere-project-converter/. Thank you Josh !

You downgrade your current project version with this tool, then use creative cloud to install the previous version of Adobe Premiere Pro. Then you reopen the downgraded version of your project in the "new" older version, and the folders are back with everything looking pretty like it used to and most of all, well, workable.

Hope that helps anyone since - well - it helped me.

I must say having to do this kind of stuff, with all the anxiety of a deadline and the dead-eye look of the client over your shoulder is maybe something the Adobe team should be concerned about when making new versions... And maybe, if that doesn't sound too much of a task, actually try the software before releasing it. Have yourself some kind of external editor-team looking out for us and try it before it fails.

And since I'm in Belgium, and this pretty much ruined my Saturday night. I'm going to grab myself a Beer, with a capital B, like Brussels.

    Cheers

Same problem here. Unable to access recently installed .mogrt files into essential graphics. Only captions and subtitles appear and no way back to other essential graphics. Is there a way around this ? Like ZavierKonz tried to clear cache files and settings but didn't work out. All files seem to be accessible when looking directly by MacOs finder but not through the actual software.

This is pretty urgent and time consuming...
