Unable to copy & paste Dip to Black/White anymore.

Just updated to 13.1.2 (Build 9) today and opened a project which had a few dip transitions. Seems you are unable to copy/paste these to other clip edit points without pasting the entire sequence. Found another post with people reporting similar issues since the update here: Re: Can't copy/paste transitions anymore???

I can drag into place from effects no problem but cannot copy or paste once in the timeline. Other transitions such as dissolves can be copy/pasted without any issues, only seems to be affecting the dips. Have tried resetting prefs but no joy.

HI @Robert25221699migv,

Thanks for writing in. You say that you cannot copy/paste a dip to black or dip to white? I am not having that problem. Try restarting, then, can you try the same in a new sequence or a new sequence in a new project? Does the same thing happen? If so, have you tried resetting preferences? I hope one of these things works for you.

Having this issue now in 2024. Dip to black can't be copy/pasted or moved at all. Really irritating.

Copy and Paste of Dip transitions has been fixed in Premiere Pro 13.1.3.

This is an issue currently under investigation and we hope to have this fixed as soon as possible. It should only affect the Dip to Black and Dip to White transitions in 13.1.x (it should still be working in 13.0.3).
