Unable to export from Pr

I recently filmed a wedding video and edited it on Pr. Everything was going really well until I didn't have enough storage to export. I deleted all my unused things but I still didn't have enough space to export. I realized that all my media was taking up all the space on my computer but I can't delete it because my edit will label it as missing media. So I tried transferring my media to an external hard drive but Pr is having trouble redirecting the media source to the external hard drive and its still trying to pull media from the folder in my computer. Does anyone know how to redirect the media source or have a solution to this issue? Please let me know, my deadline was almost a week ago and I've been trying to figure this out since. My brain is fried, my head hurts, I sobbed of frustration, I have sweat from nerves. I am just a 17 year old girl who is going through a learning curve and is in some desperate need of help.
