unable to import .mts, .mp4, .mpeg files with audio and video. those are importing without audio

Dear Team,

i am using creative cloud suite adobe premiere corporate licensed one (Atria Convergence Technologies). from past two months onwards i am facing a difficult issue in adobe premiere 2017. unable to import .mts, .mp4, .mpeg files into premiere with audio and video. When i try to import only video is getting, audio is missing in that file. This issue is for all  .mts, .mp4, .mpeg files. I had tried to uninstall premiere and reinstall and also done version update but the issue remains. Please do needful.

Hello,

I ve got the same problem.

I`m also using Premiere cc 2017 and can`t import my mp4 or mts files with the audio track. I already created a new session, tried several ways of importing the files and rebooted my laptop of coz.

Premiere 2018 isn`t working at all on my HP Spectre x360 (I7, 512 SSD, 4K, 16GB Ram) so I went back to 2017.

And until now I never got a problem here with composing my videosfiles (including the audiotrack).

Pls fix any of these problems...actually i just want to work and thats why i pay this abo every month

Hi Gajapati Gunakala,

Sorry for the issue. We need more info related to the system configuration, operating system & the footage.

Are you trying to import the footage into Project panel or trying to drag the footage from project panel to timeline?

Please check this help article: FAQ: Why does audio or video not go to the track where I drop it? 

Is it possible to share a screenshot of the project panel after importing the footage into Premiere Pro?
