Question

Unattended Audio transcription to subtitel

Hi all,

I´m testing the Speech to text capability in Premiere 2021 and it works really fine. My question is, could be possible to use it in a unattended mode? I was thinking in something similar to a hotfolder were you place the video files and a return folder with the subtitle file (somethink similar to a media encoder hotfolder where you define the profile to be applied to each folder and the return dessired).

Thanks in advance

Hi all,

Thanks for all your answer. Gerikp, I add it as you suggest me in Automatic subtitles from Audio transcrip – Adobe video & audio apps (uservoice.com).

Thanks all.

Right on @R Neil Haugen ! Oscar, you can add your idea here https://adobe-video.uservoice.com/forums/911308-media-encoder

That would be cool, but it would take being able to set MediaEncoder to a watch-folder with "create transcriptions" active by folder settings.

And there is currentlly no way to do that, so it would take a UserVoice request. And they'd have to decide there was enough interest to work on it.

I for one ... and I imagine Gerik and Stan and some others here would love such a feature, so if someone puts this up on UserVoice and posts a link back here I'll be happy to go upvote it!

I really like the idea of Media Encoder having the ability to do a transcript in the same way you can drop a video file and it exports out a different version.
