Question

Unsupported compression type while exporting video / Adobe Premiere Pro 2023

Hello,

I need help with the following issue.

I successfully imported and moderated the videos. Once the video processing was completed, I attempted to export it using the standard preset for YouTube videos (4K). The encoding process took the usual amount of time. However, upon completion, an error message appeared: 'Unsupported compression type. The video cannot be played (0 bytes).

Thank you for your help!

Hi!

This may sound stupid, but the special characters in the name of your .mp4 rushes may create a conflict?

Also, did you try to export your project on another disk ?

Hey Blaz_sim,

I understand how frustrating this must be. Do you see this issue with specific source files? If so, could you try transcoding your source file using ShutterEncoder and let us know if you still see the error message?

Thanks,

Ishan

Hello,

Thank you for your message. Source files are in standard formats and there was no problems while they were imported into the program.

Was your source file recorded from a camera, or was it something similar to a screen recording? For testing purposes, could you try transcoding your source file using ShutterEncoder to check if you still see the error message?
