Update caused playback issues

This update wrecked my entire day. I never asked for it. It just appeared in my toolbar and stopped all my video from playing. I have lost my entire day’s work and I’m not sure if I can even get rid of it. I had to roll back Premiere to an earlier version anyway because of a similar issue with the newest build. Why release updates if they don’t work???  Nobody wants these AI features that are just copying. Just let us edit. I am so sick of these constant updates that don’t work. I will not be using premiere for my next feature film. I’m sorry I bought a subscription for this one.
