Question

Updated to 2020, now have Compatibility Issue

I'm running the latest update of Windows 10 on a Razor Blade 15 2018 Base Model, with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 with Max-Q Design, and it was running super smoothly for the most part with CC 2019.

Should I roll back or wait for update or what?

Kinda frustrating since I'm paying that hefty monthly subscription and I can't render anything now.

I've updated to 2020 and been running into export issues with Premiere and Media Encoder. I've been getting the "error code 5" warning. The warning box says its an Importer issue. These were project files I was working on with CC2019 and been exporting cuts of them without any issues. I've been scouring the internet trying to figure out whats going on, hoping to get a fix soon.

Interesting. I think it may be the case that nVidia hasn't rolled out an update for all its drivers. Kinda sucks since I was expecting higher synergy between Windows, Adobe and nVidia. I installed the latest Windows update and all my drivers are up to date, but still not working.

I've decided to roll back to CC 2019 and try again in a few months.

I use Premiere and After Effects, both of which are having this issue

I applied 'Continue with Known Issue' and went on to render with Adobe Media Encoder, but despite reaching 100%, it failed to make a file which didn't happen before, and I assume it's because of the compatibilty issue
