Question

Upgraded Premiere Pro and now want to DOWNGRADE crashing continually !!!

Hi folks ... I just updated my Premiere Pro (simple upgrade  .. not a new version as far as I can see) and now it crashes continually which it never did before.  I am doing simple things like using the search option for a clip which will case a crash (just starting an edit so not even 5 minutes on my timeline !!!!!).  Can I go back to whatever I had?????   Whatever new improved additions they have added have clearly not been debugged!  Please say I can ... have lost a day of work dealing with these constant crashes!  Thanks!

    Yes and no.

The project you last worked on in the upgrade is not backwards compatible.

You either need to export this as an xml or use the project last saved in the previous version.

If you cannot find Previous Versions:

Reinstall CC app, make sure you have the latest version.

Also I assume you are not using the trial?

I am not given a "previous version" option at all ...  I am not using the trial and am aware I would lose the work on my project in the most recent version (just a day's work ... worth it) if I step backwards.  My question is .. if I reinstall ... will I not just be getting this "latest" version that I am actually trying to avoid?  Thanks for this help!  So appreciate it!

Thanks for your reply John ... but sadly when I go to find additional apps that "view previous versions" tab is not there
(does not appear at bottom)... unless I am wrong I think they have removed it:  any other suggestions?
