USB Mic causes playback stuttering

Windows 10

Composite preview during trim = off

High quality playback = off

Maintain pitch while shuttling = off

Media Cache set to high speed storage

BIOS settings set to premiere req

With usb mic set as input in audio hardware we get playback stuttering. Setting default input to NO INPUT removes the stutter.

Swapped machine for new windows 10 build, updated drivers, swapped mic's cables, user profiles. Some duplicate setups work fine but about 5% of the bays have this issue. We need the mic so the NO INPUT is not an option.

Reviewed forums here at adobe, redit, creative cow and the only fix suggested that seems to work for others is No Input.

Any advice is appreciated
