Using ARRI CDL data on imported files

I have footage from two ARRI minis that have color look data embedded in the metadata of each clip. The way it is supposed to work, is that when the clips are imported through the File-->Import option, the look is imported as a Lumetri effect applied to the master effects panel of each clip. I've tested and that method does indeed work.

However since Premiere mysteriously lacks the ability to sync multiple cameras and audio clips using timecode, I've had to take it through Tentacle Studio to sync and then import the XML to Premiere.

The result is that the clips have been imported, but with the CDL data stripped. Evidently, Premiere does not read the CDL data when importing clips through an XML file.

Can anyone figure out a workaround?

What troubles did you have with the timecode?

There's no way to batch sync via timecode in Premiere so I have to use a separate program and then import the XML sequence the program spits out. But it doesn't bring in the Lumetri color profile the way File-->Import... would.

To be sure I understand ... you're needing to sync essentially a multicam shoot (including separate audio sources/tracks) by timecode? Is that correct?
