Using colored otf font in premiere pro

I want to use a colored otf font in premiere pro, but when I try so, the font is white filled. It works in photoshop and illustrator, but can I use it in premiere pro as well?

I don't think so ... I think you'll need to add color via the EGP color controls for the font. Video color is not identical to color in apps designed for print work. Many colors that might be set for print do not translate well or at least directly into video.

 

You can set a style, or series of styles for that font in Premiere. With color as part of the style, I believe.
