Using proxies + different files sizes

Hi,

This is probably an easy answer, but I am using proxies for a project and want to add some footage shot on a cell phone, but when I import the files automatically make and use proxies (as specified in the ingest settings) which causes the file to resize and become distorted. Is there a way to import specific files and not let them have proxies added?
