UXP Keyframe Fails to Create

Please see attached video clip.  Shows my code and behavior in Premiere Pro.

Note how the code just modifies the value of the Opacity property?  It isn't adding a keyframe as I intend.

Is here someone that can review/advise?

ah, i figured out what is going on... the keyframe is added relative to the clip time, not the sequence time... since my clip was trimmed at the beginning, I wasn't seeing the keyframes... now I need to find out how to take into account any trimming at the front of the clip to position the keyframe relative to the sequence.
