Vergleichsansicht zeigt nur einen Clip

Hallo zusammen,

 

ich möchte die Farben in unterschiedlichen Clips abgleichen und bin auf dieses Tutorial gestoßen:

Wenn ich die Vergleichsansicht öffne wird mir allerdings nur ein Clip rechts oder links angezeigt, die andere Seite bleibt schwarz. Ich finde nicht, wie ich eine Referenz bzw. einen aktiven Clip hinzufügen kann. Was mache ich falsch?

 

Note: Ich habe die Suchfunktion benutzt und konnte nicht finden. Entschuldigt bitte die simple Frage, ich bin noch ziemlich am Anfang.

Starting with a sequence with several clips on the same track ... and the playhead (CTI)  is on say clip 3, which is the selected clip. Now go to Comparison mode. 

 

Now the left side of the screen will be clip 1, the right clip 3, as you are on clip three. You can use the controls under the Reference clip, in this case, clip 1, to go anywhere else  on that track in that sequence, to get a reference frame. Except of course, the clip you have selected cannot also be the reference clip.

 

But you can only "compare" clips that are on the same track on the same sequence.

    The right side is controlled by the timeline, the left side is controlled by the little slider under the video. Perhaps you are on the first frame there, and thus it black, from fade-in? Anyway, those two control it.
