Very annoying behavior of Multi Track Selection tool

currently the multitrack selection is set by default to selecting ALL tracks, and the only way to select one track needs a modifier key (Shift). This is really annoying, because I mostly need to select only one track. It gets more annoying, when I need then to move this selection somewhere, but the pressed Shift doesn't let me do it, so I need to release it immediately again. Of course with practice I cinda can get used to it, but still ,I would prefer to have separate shortcut for selecting clips on one track
