Very strange Bug

Hi,

Having an extremely strange issue today.

If I open project, all is fine .

If I then open a second project alongside my first, to take things from for example, when I go back to my original timeline, my audio has been replaced by the 2nd project that I opened to take things from.

It replaces the audio, completely. If I reboot the premier pro however the audio returns to usual. What the heck could be causing this?? & how do I stop it, as I kinda need to access the two projects at once.  Using adobe 2024, cleared media cahce..

Did you try to import the 2nd project into a new project first. IE: The one you get some resources from. Start PP holding down shift... delete the cache. Quit. Start PP from nomal icon (not from a project file), create new project, import in resources project. Quit. Start PP, create new project, open resources project... have a go...

that I did not do. I will give that a go. Why has this happened? I can't do this for all my projects? 😞

I'm not sure, but it's a strange error/problem. For the most part we here are other users like you, a staffer may check in at times.

You might try creating a new project and IMPORTING the previous project. Try it with both if you need to. I'd start with the main editing program. Also, you might eventually check out the Productions work flow, which is specifically for using multiple project files.

Hi,

I am opening the project, upon flicking back to my original sequence, the audio has automatically been replaced.
This is a new project, I need the stuff from my previous project.

Worth noting that I can replicate this every time. WTF is going on?
