Video As Still Frame

I have a split screen side by side comparison for a client showing before improvement and after improvement. I exported a draft of this video last night, and the two clips play perfectly. Today, when I opened Premiere, the video on the right plays through, but the clip on the left only shows up as a still frame. I tried locating the file, and importing it back into the sequence. I tried locating the file on my computer, and adding it to premiere again. I tried creating a new sequence and then an entire new project in premiere. Whenever I attempt to work on this one clip, instead of playing as a video, it only plays back as a still frame. This clip plays perfectly when I select it in its folder on my desktop, but when added to premiere it will not play. Any help to get the video to play would be appreciated.

If that doesn't work, please use the free MediaInfo and post a screenshot of the properties of your media in tree view:

Many users are having issues with VFR. If the file is variable frame rate, use Handbrake to convert to constant frame rate:

Here is a tutorial:

Shutter Encoder may also be used to convert to Constant Frame Rate:

If that doesn't work, try resetting the Workspaces:
Reset a workspace
Reset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels.
1. Do one of the following:
• Click the Workspace menu icon and select Reset to Saved Layout.
• Choose Window > Workspace > Reset to Saved Layout.
from here:

If that doesn't work, try Preferences > Audio Hardware and set Input to None.

If that doesn’t work, try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site. If NVIDIA, do a clean installation of the latest Studio Driver (NOT the Game Driver)
