Hey everyone! I am using Adobe premiere pro CC 2017. I record some of my footage on my iPhone and when I usually import those on my Computer and then in to premiere it works. However, whenever I now import videos into Premiere it says the video is only audio. In the preview tap on the left in the program it works perfectly and I can the video but when I pull into the timeline it'll only let me use the audio. Also, In my project panel it is shown as an only audio. This seems very strange since in that porject I have iPhone footage from the same day that works. I have tried just about everything even recording it again and it still didnt work. HELP WOULD BE MUCH appreciated. Thanks!

Either update to the latest version of Premiere Pro (it now supports Variable Frame Rate) or convert to Constant Frame Rate with Handbrake before importing into Premiere Pro:

Hi Lauren,

Have you got an iPhone with iOS 11? if so, you have to make an update of the latest version of Premiere Pro because iOS 11 records in H.265 or HEVC and the latest update supports this format. Read this New features summary for the January 2018 and October 2017 releases of Adobe Premiere Pro CC.

Regards!

Byron.
