Video Clip turns into Audio only when dragged into timeline

I was editing a video, and I dragged in a recording from OBS set to .mp4 output into the timeline, and it turns into this audio only type of thing, when I play it the footage doesnt show up, it's just a black screen.

    It seems like an issue with Source Patching. Have you tried the steps mentioned in this     video & checked if it's helping?

    hi Charles, I experienced a similar issue a while back, I believe it’s the sequence and the format of the footages.
