Question

Video clips distorted (stretched) in output

Hellllppp, please!
The video clips that I have imported in my Premiere Pro project are all distorted (stretched horizontally) when exported. I have tried everything like setting Pixel Aspect Ratio  to Square Pixels (1.0), New Sequence From Clip, Modify > Interpret footage, but nothing changes. All my videos show stretched horizontally without keeping proportions, and not filling the screen vertically.

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. We're here to help. Could you share the following details:

    1. Are you on macOS or WIndows?

    2. In your Project panel, right-click a clip > Properties (or Media File Properties) and note the actual resolution (e.g., 1920×1080, 3840×2160, 1080×1920 vertical, etc.).

    3. Then in your Timeline, right-click the sequence > Sequence Settings, and confirm the Frame Size matches your source.

    4. In Export Settings, check that the Width and Height match your sequence.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Thanks,

    Nishu

Thank you. Strangely, I have the problem only when I export with Media Encoder but it is ok when I use the Export feature in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Please post screenshots of your media properties, sequence settings, and export settings.
