Can someone teach me how to have a frame slowly dissolve into the next frame?

Once you apply the dissolve transition, you can modify its length to make it transition more slowly.

You are talking about transitions. Beginners can use basic video editors like VN Video Editor and CapCut to learn the basics like transitions. Bro, you can find numerous tutorials on this on youtube, linkedln and X.

However, in VN Video Editor (if you like to use):

  • Tap the small square icon between the two clips (this is the transition button).
  • Choose the “Dissolve” or “Fade” transition from the list.
  • Adjust the duration (make it longer for a slow dissolve).

I thought that he is a beginner, that's why I suggested using vn or capcut because they are more beginner-friendly.

Another way of doing that is to have the two clips on different video tracks and keyframe the opacity of each to get the transition desired.
