Video Encoding - Bitrate Settings/Target Bitrate

@Adobe, I wonder If it would be possible to hide the Bitrate Settings/Target Bitrate Slider a bit deeper in depths of the software. (exporting via Premiere) As you might know we alle have a lot of time and we love endless clicking and scrolling. Especially this feature is not used very often and it also kind of not important for professionals.

Another idea would be the lock the access to this feature with 2 factor authentication or password security? Would that be safe enough preventing users to use this feature?

Kopfschüttel!

I immediately recognized the writing style as satire, and I can relate to the problem. When I want to adjust the bit rate, it’s a hassle to keep scrolling and revealing. Especially because it seems like sometimes Premiere likes to re-collapse a panel I had expanded during a previous export, so then next time I have to expand it again after scrolling again. There are a lot of “agains” in this process, which is tiring. I do wish bit rate was more exposed.

Be careful what you wish for. If that were locked, Premiere’s encoder would be locked to an extremely low, fail-safe bitrate (for example, only 15 Mbps for “4k”) and extremely poor quality encodes (such as 4k would look worse than 720p) without those adjustments.

I was just joking. Can’t believe how Adobe is handling this...

    You have my down vote.

Use it all the time and authentication would be aggravating.
