Question

Video exported from Premiere is crisp but is blurry after uploading into Facebook. Why is that?

I have Adobe Premiere Pro v13. When I export my edited video, it is crisp and clear when played directly on the desktop. However, when I upload into Facebook, it is blurry and looks terrible.

Does anyone know why this is? I have tried multiple times using the several (recommended) Facebook settings for the export in Adobe. I have even tried online guides and YouTube tutorials, but the video is still blurry after a Facebook upload.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

This is likely Facebook not encoding it correctly. Sometimes you can upload something and then it needs to process it, starting with the lowest resolution and working up. So if you wait, it does the other versions and makes them available as it finishes them.

I don't think that's the problem; I uploaded into Facebook, waited several hours, and it still is blurry.
