Video Overlay with Tracking? Help

Hi, new forum user here.

I am pretty new to Premiere, but at my job I'm the only person who knows how to use it. I didn't find anything that actually had what I needed when I googled this, but I think I just don't know what to call it.

Basically, I've been asked to overlay a co-worker's face and another object into an iconic movie scene (the intro of Forrest Gump). I want to take a video (or photo) of my co-worker and use just his face, and get his face to line up with Forrest's face and move with it. I also need to take a video/image of a sticky note to replace the feather that falls to Forrest's feet in the opening scene. I know this must be possible, I just don't know where to start or what to do. Would it be easier to do this with a still image?

If anyone knows how to do this, please let me know.

Yea, of course it's possible. BUT ... it requires a certain amount of fidgety ability to control a number of settings.

First, you'll need the original scene on the V1 track ... then have the image/video of coworker above, and use a tracked mask to replace the face with the one above ... which may need to also probably need to be moved around to fit within the image below.

That's the basic of the job ... but doing it clean takes a certain level of finesse ...

Thank you so much!

Yeah, I'm not looking to make it super seamless, it'll look kinda janky and I'm okay with that.

Now I have to figure out how to use a tracked mask... but I'm sure there will be plenty of tutorials online for that. I guess I just needed to know what to look up!

I appreciate your help
