Video quality in sequence more washed out than original clip

Question

Hello! I am newish to Premiere and am having an issue with video quality not matching the original clip that I import into my sequnce. I am shooiting footage on an iPhone 15 pro, cinematic mode, 4k at 30fps. As I hope you can see in this picture (it's much more obvious in person), the original source clip on the left is much more vibrant than the clip in the sequnce (clip on the right). In the sequnce, it looks much flatter and overall just doesnt look nearly as good as the original clip from my phone. I've adjusted color spaces and this is the closest i can get it to looking good, but still is a downgrade from the source clip. Is there any way of importing it so it looks identical to the source? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Color Management 101, which we all need to master.

Youvshotvan HDR space clip. You can do either HDR or SDR/Rec.709 depending on what you want IF you set your color management correctly. I've posted about this a couple hundred times easily.

Color Workspace, Lumetri panel, Settings tab. The one NAMED Settings. All CM is there now.

Display Color Management on, Macs also set Extended Dynamic Range on.

Auto detect log and auto tonemapping are interactive and BOTH need to be on.

Set you sequence to the space you want to export to, and use only export presets that match the color space of your sequence.

Some Mac users prefer setting viewing gamma to 1.96, so that outside Premiere on their Mac the image is the same as in QuickTime Player on their Mac. It's too dark on everything else but what the hey.
