VLC update crashes Premiere Pro 15 (?)

I updated VLC (v 3.0.16) on mac OS BIG SUR (MacBook Pro 16p Retina) and just after this update, Premiere Pro was unable to read any video file. The video was either freezed or lagged. After a long time searching the cause of the issue, I just unistalled VLC with a clean uninstall and it fixed the issue. 

I share this strange situation, since it can helps somebody ?
