Voice over recording doesn't work after recent update

After recent updates,

the voice over recording doesn't record anything.

it works sometimes when I change workspace and then stops working any more.

there is no problem with the hardware. it is a sequence issue.

I click on the record and it pretends it is recording but then it has recorded nada.

what can I do to fix it without that work around to create new sequence and etc..

Sometimes some stupid behavior pops up, you make a new project, it ain't there. Maybe a point of corruption in the old project file or something.

Or dumping the cache or trashing preferences gets it out. Weird stuff that often works.

hummm good point. it is a new project yes.

For now I created another project and new sequence and copied and pasted everything and the problem is gone. .
