Want to Convert an JPEG transparent

So I uploaded a JPEG image from Adobe Stock , but it comes in with a white background but I need it transparent. Am I going to have to go the PNG route or what ? lemme know Abode Community Please ?!

You don't upload, you import or ingest assets into Premiere.

 

JPEG does not carry transparency.

Open in Photoshop and remove background and save as a PSD or PNG.
