Warp stabilizer extremly slow on Sony HLG footage whilst it's really fast in AE
A while ago I noticed that my footage was taking absolute ages to stabilize using warp stabilizer in Premiere Pro. Only yesterday I realised this was happening ever since I switched to the HLG gamma in my Sony FX3. I noticed that AE has no problem stabilizing said footage. A comparison:
- 250 frames of HLG footage in PP take 9 minutes to stabilize
- 250 frames of HLG footage in AE take 45 seconds to stabilize
We're talking about a staggering 12x difference. Every other gamma (Movie/Cine/S-log3) flies through warp stabilizer in PP without any problem. Since it's only a problem in PP and not in AE I assume it's a bug. Is this something that I'd be able to fix on my end or is it a limitation of PP?
