Wave Warp not exporting correctly in Premiere

In Premiere Pro, I used Wave Warp on a still image of a face to animate it, so it looks like it’s nodding. I was working in ½ playback resolution. When I export the video, the Wave Warp does not look the way it does when I am editing. Wave Warp makes the face looks like it’s twitching, and it blurs the movement of the face. I also tried nesting the clip but that didn’t work. Is there any way I can get the Wave Warp effect to export like the way it looks when I use ½ playback resolution?

The issue is that your Wave Width is set to 1 pixel, which creates a lot of fine detail that is difficult to recreate accurately in lower-resolution previews.

To achieve the effect you're going for, set the Wave Width much wider, more like twice the width of your image. This turns the sine wave into more of an arc moving up and down.

Once you set the Wave Width wider, playback should look more consistent across different resolutions.

Thank you so much for this advice. I changed the Wave Width setting from 1 to 7414 which created a similar effect! I wanted to have the face slowly nodding up and down. Is there an exact way to calculate how I could get the same effect when moving the number up from 1? Or do I just need to keep playing with it?
