Waveform In/Out Point Glitch After Updating to GeForce 3080 Ti
So I sold my house and bought a 3080 Ti. I did a full clean install of the drivers, did a full uninstall in safe mode, all that stuff and the drivers are fully up to date. But Premiere is doing a weird thing where when I'm in the Source window, in waveform mode.
Normal behavior is this: When you set an in point in waveform mode, it darkens the waveform before the in point and the rest of the window remains the same brightness. If you set an out point, same thing, except it darkens the window after the out point. Got it? Okay.
So now that I've got the holy grail of video cards, when I set an in point, about 60% of the time, it takes about two seconds to set as the window slowly refreshes. Like, starting from the top of the window down, I can see the dark part drawing in. Same thing when I set an out point. everything after the Out point line gets dark, but it slowly draws in for like 2 seconds. I hope that makes sense, I can't think of any other way to describe it.
Is this an issue because the card is so new? I had another issue where I would push play in Premiere and nothing would happen, but the icon would turn to stop. I would have to unplug my audio USB and plug it back in to get it to work again, but then downloaded LatecnyMon and saw that it was my NVIDIA drivers causing it. But, a total uninstall and reinstall of my chipset drivers fixed that. Afterwards I uninstalled literally every motherboard program, utility, RGB case lighting program and driver and fresh installed the latest, drivers-only, updated the BIOS, all of that. And it fixed all my issues except this one.
