Waveform partially disappearing after a cut in multicam

Multicam sequence of 2 clips - after a cut, part of the waveform disappears as can be seen in the pictures.

This is with PP CC 2014.1 on 2 PCs.

It does not happen with PP CC 2017.1.2.

I'd appreciate any help.

I have seen similar issues in v8 & v9 (not sure about the exact version).

Is there any specific reason that you are working in CC2014 and not in CC2017 or the latest v12?

Well, I did find that when I zoom in, the waveform returns.

The reason I am working in CC2014 is that the computers I work on have only Core Duo CPU, 4GB memory and no GPU.

I do manage by offline editing using DNxHD 36 proxies and then reconnect to the original files for final export.
