Way to scrub through timeline via mouse ?

Hi,

Would there be a way to scrub through the clips of my timeline without having to click on the playhead and moving it but just by moving my cursor from the left to the right (without having to click anywhere)?

For instance my cursor here I would like that when I move it to the left or to the right, it scrubs through the video, meaning that on my program monitor the pictures are changing as I go right or left.

I don't believe there is a way to hover scrub on the timeline.

You can use the left and right arrows on your keyboard to move the playhead, hold the shift key down when using the arrows to move in bigger steps.

Hey, can you make one for Mac? 😭

This feature is so essential in Final Cut, and I don't know why they don't have an option for Premiere.

    Thank you!

Hover over the Time Ruler at the bottom of Project panel or Source panel and then scroll.
