⚠️ We’ve been working with four Adobe engineers on a critical bug that remains unresolved. Two have left Adobe, and the other two aren’t responding. This is now an emergency. How can we escalate this immediately?

My documentary film takes over 2 HOURS to load. It’s a RELINKING problem. I contacted adobe engineers last year in the summer. Even got on a video call with them to show the issue. Spent literally hours on this. They acknowledged the bug and said they are working on it.

I finished that project months ago and gave up on this situation and transitioned to Davinci Resolve for my new projects due to my extreme frustration with Adobe.

But now the client has come back and I need to make a lot of changes, and it’s just unbelievable that everytime I open the project, I have to wait 2 hours before I can do anything.

Rach McIntire was my main point of contact and she no longer is at Adobe!

The Adobe phone support is so horrible that I want to blew my own brains out. It’s like they deliberately want to annoy you on the phone.

How can I get in touch with someone at Rach’s level or her replacement at Adobe?

This is now resolved. The engineering team has reached out. Mods, if you see this, you can tag this resolved or even better, delete it entirely. Thank you.

The issue itself was not resolved. Me being able to reach the engineering team got resolved.

There’s a way that I can directly help them to pinpoint the issue by shipping the project to them (they would send me a harddrive and cover the shipping cost, obviously) but copying 12TB of data is very inconvenient for me. Considering how many billable hours I have lost because of this bug, and the hours spent on the phone and writing emails about it with Adobe, I asked for 2 yr free subscription in return for my help to fix the bug by giving them the project, but they said they couldn’t do it.

It’s fascinating how a giant corp with a market cap of $100 BILLION can’t give 2yrs of free sub to a 13yr customer who is getting hurt because of a new bug introduced to their app since they added the AI analyzer tool. Time to switch to Davinci Resolve like thousands of others I guess...
